On March 19, 2010, we had our last Servant’s Heart Banquet. That was an exciting banquet. Although we had no idea what God was doing when we planned the banquet, eight days before the banquet the SHCM board voted unanimously to submit an offer for our current property. Three days before that banquet, we received the sellers acceptance of our offer. What a delight it was to announce that exciting news at that banquet.
Much has happened since that date, and we thought it was time to give our friends another in person update about what is happening here in Ramey.
We have scheduled two banquets for this spring. One in Blair County (about 40 minutes from the new property) and one in Lancaster County. The first banquet is scheduled for 5:00 on Saturday, April 14 at the Prime Sirloin Steakhouse in Duncansville. The address is 501 Municipal Drive, Duncansville, PA 16635. The second banquet is scheduled for 6:15 on Friday, April 27 at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord in East Earl. The address is 129 Toddy Drive, East Earl, PA 17519.
Every adult with an interest in SHCM is invited to be our guest for one of these two banquets. The banquets will include great food, special music, skits, an update on the past and future goals at SHCM, and a short challenge from God’s Word. We will also be taking an offering each evening as we have significant financial needs. Please do not stay away from the banquet because you are not in a position to give. We want everyone with an interest in SHCM to get an update of what God is doing. Although there is no cost for the banquet, we do need to know who is coming.
