Pastor Adam Shedal
Pastor Adam Shedal was saved at a young age when he realized he was a sinner and turned in faith to Jesus Christ. At the age of sixteen, the Lord burdened Pastor Shedal to go into the church planting ministry. He went on to attend Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, NC, where he received a BA in Bible and Pastoral Studies. On September 20, 2020, Pastor Shedal planted Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Orwigsburg, PA, where he continues to faithfully pastor the flock there. He and his wife, Rebekah, have been blessed with three boys – Daniel, Matthew, and Elijah.
Pastor Jonathan Bixler
Jonathan Bixler became the pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in February of 2011. Growing up in a preacher’s home, he was saved at the age of seven. At the age of sixteen, he believed God had called him to preach. He went on to prepare for this calling at Bible college where he studied Pastoral Theology. After serving the Lord at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Williamsport, PA, for eight years, God led him and his family to Mount Joy, PA, to serve as the senior pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church. In 2002, He married his wife Tanya, and God has given them two wonderful children, Ryan and Kirsten.

2027 Reaching the Summit Brochure
- This retreat is for teens in the 7th through 12th grade.
- Registration is at Camp Susque on Thursday from 6:15p.m.-7:00p.m., and the retreat will conclude at 4:00p.m. on Saturday.
- The retreat includes a snack on Thursday evening, three meals and a snack on Friday, and a brunch and afternoon meal on Saturday.
- The cost for the retreat is $125.
- Bring: Bible, pen, sleeping bag, pillow, towel, washcloth, personal items, warm clothes for outdoor games, and lots of enthusiasm.
- Do NOT Bring: Cigarettes/vapes, alcohol, drugs, cell phones, smart devices, Fitbits, electronic gadgets, knives, guns, playing cards, fireworks, cell phones, selfishness, or a bad attitude.
- Camper dress: All attire should represent a clear Christian testimony. In order to maintain modesty and consistency, we ask that you abide by the following standards.
Girls: All attire must cover the knee when sitting. No low necklines/tight shirts/exposed midriffs. No worldly pictures or advertisements on any clothing.
Game Time: Skirts, culottes, or loose-fitting slacks. Rallies: Skirts and blouses, no T-shirts.
Guys: All attire must be loose-fitting. No worldly pictures or advertisements on any clothing.
Game Time: Jeans or pants. Rallies: Casual (khaki) pants and a collared shirt.
*Staff reserves the right to ask any camper to change clothing.*

- Lost & Found: Lost items not requested within one week after the retreat will be appropriately donated or discarded.
