The first cabin is now under roof and the wiring has been started. The shower is in the cabin and ready for installation. By the end of next week, we should be ready for the knotty pine boards on the inside of the cabin. As soon as we order and receive the log siding, it will also be ready for installation. Just yesterday, we priced the siding at an Amish sawmill. It seems they may have the best pricing.

The footers for the second cabin have also been poured. We started laying the block, but the snow stopped our progress. With the warmer weather in the forecast, we should be able to have the block completed next week. Now, we are looking for a church or interested individuals that would be willing to come and build the second cabin. We provide the food and you provide the man power. In a few days, a group of several guys could put a cabin under roof.
