Today we are in the middle of our spring workdays, but that is not the busy weekend this post is about. Last weekend was spent in Lancaster County. On Friday evening we had our second FUNraiser of 2025 at Shady Maple Smorgasbord. It was a wonderful evening full of delicious food, exciting bidding, and praise to our great God. Then the next day started around 10:30 at Faith Bible Church in Mount Joy. The finale for the 2025 year of Bible Quizzing through the book of James kicked off and the hours that followed exemplified the hard work put in by many teens to study the Word of God. In addition to quizzing, we had lunch, the teens played an intense game of quarter hockey, and an orchestra composed of quizzers and adults alike blessed us with music. Dr. Alton Beal gave a challenge from Psalm 119 of what we all should be doing with the Bible in our own lives. In the end, North Hills Bible Church came out on top. Congratulations to them and to all quizzers, parents, pastors, and helpers who make quizzing possible!
