Lilly Family (The Voice in the Wilderness)

Tim Brubaker (Pastor New Testament Baptist Church)
WallBuilders
Timothy Barton is the President of WallBuilders, a national profamily organization that presents America’s forgotten history and heroes with an emphasis on our religious, moral, and constitutional heritage. WallBuilders has been recognized from coast to coast for its work in education, history, law, and public policy, integrating the elements of Biblical faith and morality throughout all aspects of American life and culture. Tim’s ability to tell the story of America’s past, while helping audiences understand how that connects to the present and what steps should be taken for the future, has inspired audiences nationwide. Regardless of where he is, Tim speaks into the lives of those around him, encouraging them to live passionately and to follow Christ whole-heartedly.
Awake America
Brad Cranston is the states coordinator for Awake America. He has a love for God and his country. In the spring of 1992 the Cranstons moved to Burlington, IA where Bro. Cranston assumed the pastorate of a 16-month-old church plant meeting in a rented room at the local community college. In the fall of 1992 that conservative, independent, Baptist church was chartered and organized as Heritage Baptist Church. Sensing the moral and spiritual decline of our political process, Bro. Cranston founded Iowa Baptists for Biblical Values in 2008. Over the years that effort has increased to include a weekly presence of Baptist pastors at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines and trusted relationships with numerous good and godly Iowa legislators.
Christian Law Association
More than 40 years ago, the ministry of the Christian Law Association effectively began with a phone call from a pastor in Ohio. As a young attorney, David C. Gibbs, Jr. could hardly believe his ears as the pastor relayed how his church was being sued by the state for operating its ministry. When he reviewed the legal documents, Dr. Gibbs was astonished that such a thing could happen in modern America. From that very first case through the present day, God has blessed Dr. Gibbs’ commitment to legally help churches, pastors, and Christians free of charge. The ministry has grown substantially through God’s blessing over the last 40 years as attorneys, legal assistants, and other ministry workers have joined CLA’s team of “legal missionaries.”
The Lilly Family
The Lilly family attends a church in North Carolina that has frequently sent campers to SHC. As a family, they answer many questions about the Constitution! Who wrote it? Can it be changed? Is it important today? What does impeach mean? Does the Constitution provide welfare for poor people? Who was the single most influential person in the shaping of America? Find the answers to these questions and more when you join Tweety-Pie in the Junior Tutor Classroom as she follows the fingerprints of God and explores the true history surrounding the writing of the United States Constitution. You will be challenged in knowledge, faith, duty, and patriotism. With a clear and simple overview of all seven Articles, you will understand the key concepts intended by our founders and be encouraged to become The Constitution Defender for this generation.
Tim Brubaker
Born and raised in rural Pennsylvania, Tim spent his high school years working on dairy farms while avidly reading and developing a love for America. In 2011 God led him to Bible college where he trained for pastoral ministry. After graduation and marriage, Tim returned for further education and wrote his master’s thesis, Battle for Freedom: What Christians Risk By Ignoring American Politics. Much more than a call to political activism, his study seeks to develop a theology of civil government. Informed by Baptist history, Tim delivers practical answers to today’s political questions with a biblically-reasoned approach that is refreshing and thought-provoking. Tim leads his audience out of emotionally charged politics into the Word of God. Tim is a previous camper and also served on staff several years at Servant’s Heart Camp.
