It is Friday evening,but there was no campfire service. The property is not buzzing with the voices of excited campers. Our first summer camp on the new property is now history. Sometimes it is a bit difficult to come to the end of the summer camp season. This evening, I reflected upon the summer and upon the wonderful testimonies given at the camp fire services. In many ways, this may have been our best summer ever. There were many young people that received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Many others made other significant decisions. As I pondered why this was such an outstanding summer, I had a thought. Perhaps, more people were praying for SHCM this year then any year in the past. So many people knew about the challenges that we faced and faithfully prayed for us. We serve a great God and He does answer prayer.
