On Friday morning, a group of men from Grace Bible Independent Baptist Church arrived at camp. It was obvious that these men were on a mission to be a blessing and get lots of wood cut in preparation for utilities. They came with eight chainsaws, two ATVs, and a tractor. I was confident that we had significantly more trees marked than they could cut in two days. Their assembly line production of dealing with the trees and brush was very effective, and by Saturday afternoon they had every marked tree cut. The stack of wood in the picture is only a percentage of the wood cut. Thank you GBIBC. You are a blessing.
Yesterday, I received a call from Larry Wolfe (Head Deacon) at Anthony Baptist Church. The church has just voted to support Servant’s Heart as one of their missionaries. That call was a huge encouragement to my heart. For the last number of years the people of Anthony Baptist have in very practical ways been exceptionally supportive of Servant’s Heart. Their monthly financial gift will be “icing on the cake.” Don’t you just love icing on your cake?
Another significant fact about the phone call is that Anthony Baptist is currently without a pastor. Even without a pastor they are moving forward in their ministry and outreach to others.
THANK YOU Anthony Baptist Church.
