Thank you Bible Baptist

This is the third spring that Servant’s Heart Camp has been working on the new property, and this is the third spring that Pastor Kile and a group from Bible Baptist have helped with needed work projects. Although their primary task was to install the knotty pine siding on the inside of the cabin, they also hauled wood, burnt brush, installed silt fence, moved ground and other various tasks. It was a blessing to have all the knotty pine siding on the side walls of the cabin by Saturday night. It was a big step in the right direction to get the much-needed cabin finished by summer camp.

In this picture they are taking a break to enjoy some freshly fried doughnuts.

Thanks Bible Baptist

This past Friday evening and Saturday, Pastor and Mrs. Kile and some teens from Bible Baptist returned to SHCM for some work projects. It is a huge blessing to have teens and adults come and help with the many projects.
We have some beavers on the property that like to continually dam the culvert that runs under the Rails to Trails. We have worked in conjunction with the folks from the Rails to Trails trying to keep the Beavers from making a swamp below our lake. Time after time, we have removed sticks and mud from in front of the culvert, but beaver are not easily discouraged. Along with many other projects, the teens from Bible Baptist removed sticks from inside the culvert and added additional fencing to keep the beaver out of the culvert. Thanks teens!
