The last weeks we have spent much time talking to excavators, reviewing bids, recalculating sewage flows, and finalizing the details of the utilities. This week, however, is thanksgiving. We will take some time to relax, spend time with family, and give thanks. When I think of how God has orchestrated many details since purchasing this property in Ramey, the list of things to thank God for is long. But the most important things are not about a property, but about a person. The person is Jesus Christ who came to this earth and died for a hopeless and helpless people. Because of the sin of Adam and because of our own sin, we needed a Savior. Jesus Christ came to this earth and provided our needed deliverance. It is so sad that many people do not know or do not choose to receive God’s gift. This Thanksgiving will you join me in echoing the words of Paul in II Corinthians 9:15 – Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
