This week, nine-year-old Caleb Walker and his family stopped at the camp during his family’s vacation. Caleb was excited to come with his (5) twenty dollar bills. Caleb (with his parents help) has stated a small business. This business adventure helps him to learn responsibility and to earn some money. I do not know how much money he made, but I do know that he was excited to give $100.00 to the Lord’s Work.
It is always exciting when children sacrificially give to help God’s work.
Last month, Shalissa Madrid (our five-year-old granddaughter) emptied her piggy bank and brought $2.25. That was all she had.
I am so very thankful for the sacrificial gifts of children. I am confident that God will abundantly reward them as they make that a pattern in their lives.

The Dining Tent Comes Down
This past Thursday through Saturday, a group from Dublin Mills were on the property to help with various work projects. They worked hard and accomplished many tasks. They took down the guys shower tent, and also the dining tent. It was almost sad to see the dining tent come down after eating in that tent for over three months. In addition to many other projects, they also started clearing the playing field on the “camp” side of the lake. They cut an amazing amount of wood and burned huge piles of brush and branches. We would love to use a portion of the new playing filed this coming summer, but we still have an unbelievable amount of work to finish the field. Thanks Dublin Mills for all your hard work!
