Our Project Manager informed us that we will need a skid loader to unload supplies, move building materials, back fill the foundation, level stones, and a host of other tasks. He described three options that we should consider. The three options he suggested were to rent, lease, or buy. Because of the length of time that we would need the skid loader, his suggestion was that we should consider buying one and then we would have it to sell or use for many other projects after the lodge is finished. Bill outlined the features of the piece of equipment that he thought we should have, and the price. Initially, I was blown away by the price of a several year-old skid loader that he described. After the board discussed it, we decided to make this our end-of-year project. We are presenting this project to our faithful friends with the goal of raising the $60,000 by the end of the year.
