On Wednesday, we received notification that the controls for our sewage pumps had shipped. The trucking company arrived with a huge Stainless Steel box on Friday. The box with the controls is about 60″ high and about 36″ wide. The shipping weight was listed as 450 lbs. I guess a $20,000 control box should be big and heavy. Although we were not expecting the box to be that big, we started the process of mounting the box as soon as the junior campers left on Friday evening. We worked until about 9:30 Friday evening and picked up the installation again on Saturday morning. With a tarp over the control panel stand, we were able to work through the rain. By early afternoon the panel was installed and working. We pumped our first sewage to the public manhole about 3300′ from our collection center. This is a HUGE step in the development of Servant’s Heart Camp and one that we have been waiting and praying about for almost four years. Next week, the camper can use the toilets and the showers! To God be the glory!
Praise the Lord!!!
Praise The Lord again! He is always good. So happy for Jim and for the camp both as campers who get to use the showers and as fellow praying Christians seeing God work!!
