This week two couples, from different parts of the state, stopped at the camp. It is a real delight for friends to come and visit.

On Tuesday, some friends (that we only meet for the first time a few months ago) brought several hundred homemade wooden craft projects. We plan to use them this summer, and I am confident the juniors will really like the projects.

On Wednesday, some other friends stopped with a surprise gift. He opened the case to reveal five new beautiful 22 Savage rifles and 10,000 rounds of ammo. Unfortunately, we will not be able to use the guns for teen or junior camp this year, but we hope to be ready for next year. We only want to use the guns after we have our appropriate certification.

The campers will already have something to look forward to in 2013.
