Summer Camps

We still have room in Teen Camp 4 (July 27 – Aug. 1)

Registration: This year, registration (1:30 – 2:30 on Monday afternoon) will be held in a tent on the near side of the lake. Only staff, campers, and overnight sponsors will be permitted to cross the lake. Visitors, bus drivers, and parents will not be allowed to cross the lake. We will be taking campers’ temperatures prior to transportation across the lake, and we are also asking that all pastors, parents, and youth pastors ensure that campers’ temperatures are checked prior to leaving their home or church. If a camper should have a temperature of 100.4 or above at the time of arrival here at camp, that camper will not be permitted to stay on the camp property. At the registration tent, we will be collecting campers’ medications, electronics (with the sole exception of cameras), and money. None of these items should cross the lake on the camper’s person or in their luggage.

Pick up Teens: We will be transporting the campers by cabin across the lake on a tractor and wagon with their luggage. Parents, pastors, and youth pastors will greet their campers at the same tent where registration occurred. The campers will have the opportunity to retrieve any electronic devices and remaining funds from their Bear Den account prior to crossing the lake. Starting at 11:00 on Saturday morning, the blue team will be making their way towards the overflow parking. The guys and the girls will cross the lake on two separate wagons. The blue team will be followed by the green team, and finally, the red team. We expect that the last group (red) will cross the lake by 11:30.

Pick up Juniors: We will be transporting the campers by cabin across the lake on a tractor and wagon with their luggage. Parents, pastors, and youth pastors will greet their campers at the same tent where registration occurred. The campers will have the opportunity to retrieve any electronic devices and remaining funds from their Bear Den account prior to crossing the lake. Starting at 7:00 on Friday evening, the blue team will be making their way towards the overflow parking. The guys and the girls will cross the lake on two separate wagons. The blue team will be followed by the green team, and finally, the red team. We expect that the last group (red) will cross the lake by 7:30.

Final Rally: Traditionally, we have invited parents, friends, and pastors to join us for the final rally.  Regretfully, we are not opening the final rally to guests this year due to the COVID- 19 issues.
