This past Sunday, we had the opportunity to share the work of Servant’s Heart Camp at a church in New York state. The people at that church were one of those unforgettable groups. They listened attentively as I shared about Servant’s Heart and they would hang on every word as I preached. This brief letter with the generous love offering gives you the spirit of that church.
It is a huge amount of work each fall to take down the game tent, equipment tent, and dining tent. In addition, we put away the games, canoes, kayaks and lots of other stuff that we use during the summer. With over 25 people working, however, we were able to gets everything put away. We were also able to complete several other projects this weekend. The workers reminded me of the people helping Nehemiah build the wall that had a “mind to work.”
A very special “THANK YOU” to each one that helped.
As you can see in the picture, the ladies scrubbed the panels of the games tent and hug them up to dry in the dining tent.
