Working Together

Lynn Peacock graciously brought his 18 horsepower bulldozer to camp. It was amazing what he could accomplish with that 1957 John Deere. He moved LOTS of ground and prepared the parking area for the parents when they arrive. It was a real blessing.
On the final day that Mr. Peacock worked on the property, we asked if he could move a large stump. We had already tried to move it with our backhoe, but it was too large for the hoe. Although he tried to move it with his bulldozer, he was unable to make any progress. Finally, Nathan pulled the stump with the backhoe while Mr. Peacock pushed the stump with his bulldozer. Together they were able to move the stump to the desired location.
As I thought about them working together, I thought about our working relationship. Many of you have told us that you are praying for us, and that has been a huge encouragement. Some days the challenges seem overwhelming, but I am convinced that the Lord hears and responds to the prayers of God’s people. If anything of eternal value happens on this camp property, it will because of God’s Spirit. Zachariah 4:6 states “not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Thank you for working with us as we seek to make an impact upon lives for eternity. We sincerely appreciate your prayer support.
